Henry Ford

Henry Ford is a famous American car manufacturer and the creator of the Ford Model T car. He developed the assembly line mode of production that brought the industry to revolutionary changes. Ford became a worldwide known company head, who sold millions of cars. Despite the fact of losing the dominance on the market, the company still has a great impact on the development of the U.S. infrastructure. In 1891, Henry Ford was hired on the position of an engineer in the Edison Illuminating Company. Two years later, due to his numerous talents, Henry got a promotion and became a chief engineer. He had an idea to create a horseless carriage; later, he realized his plans and built the first model in 1896.
